° Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or Business or equivalent of education and experience is required.
° Minimum 6 years’ experience in writing, creative development, marketing and corporate communications is required, with at least 6 years in a corporate environment preferred.
° Creative development in a global organization is required.
° Creative development in healthcare or manufacturing is highly preferred.
° Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective creative materials and campaigns.
° Working knowledge of domestic and worldwide markets and global marketing strategy.
° Demonstrated leadership ability.
° Analytical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems.
° Ability to assess customer needs and market trends within the context of product and business capabilities and the ability to translate this assessment into workable strategy.
° Understands scientific facts and packages them into a cohesive communication model for customers and sales personnel.
° Effective team building and interpersonal skills.
° Strong listening skills.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Lead Creative Copywriter who will be a key member of the Brand and Marketing Communications team with overall responsibility for developing, managing, and executing corporate marketing, creative, and marketing communications programs to accomplish short- and long-term company goals.
Must be a:
° Critical stakeholder in development and implementation of a core suite of corporate marketing content to be leveraged in multiple channels across the company’s global markets.
Must have a:
° Strong healthcare, scientific, and medical writing experience and is versatile enough to write compelling headlines, digital copy, advertising copy, video scripts and engaging social media messaging that will connect with our diverse employee, customer, and others in our key stakeholder base, creating breakthrough work that drives the brand forward.
Primary responsibilities include:
° Directly responsible for writing, editing, and proofreading digital, print, and video content, using marketing best practices and corporate standards for style, consistency, and accuracy.
° Partner cross-divisionally with product managers, medical affairs, engineers, designers, and marcomm members to plan, create, and review primarily digital content including web, emails, e-flyers, handouts, newsletters, web pages, infographics, case studies, presentations, videos, and corporate initiatives.
° Collaborate to ensure timely and accurate delivery of communications materials and resources created for various audiences that promotes engagement of our services, products as well as support marketing in brainstorming campaign themes, and applying quality control procedures and processes.
The Lead Creative Copywriter must exhibit outstanding creative judgment and work collaboratively with the design team in achieving the highest possible standards for all materials that require copy within design.
° Annual salary: $60,000-75,000 (based on experience)
° Remote position with one annual (two-day) travel requirement to our NC headquarters
