Marketing Blog Writer

We are seeking a diverse and highly-experienced writer to join our marketing blog team. Candidates must have a powerful passion for marketing/sales writing, at least 3 years of WordPress experience, a comprehensive understanding of both in-store and online marketing/sales, be skilled in using coupons, and have a genuine love for frugal living.
° 8 hour shift
You must be very detail oriented, self-motivated, and maintain a strong work ethic.
Must be able to match each client's “voice” and formatting.
° Writing blog posts in a fast-paced environment
° Finding and sourcing deal content
° Collaborate well with external marketing teams
° Able to take constructive criticism
° Strong time management skills
° Help to grow blog subscribers, and expand our blog’s overall reach
° Flexible, and willing to put forth the effort during busy times
° A passion and strong understanding of the marketing industry and flexible to learn each business mission that our clients share;
° Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our clients various types of content.
° Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts.
° 3 years of proven content creation experience using WordPress.
(Must have verifiable references and/or published portfolio of WordPress experience.)
—No college degree requirements. However, we highly prefer candidates with an education background in marketing, writing, and business fields.
Pay is negotiable based on experience and education history.
This position will be a 40-per week set schedule (with weekend hours) which will be finalized prior to hiring.
Starting pay: $30,000 annually
