Description
Our small online business and social media audience has grown exponentially. We're in serious need of a committed, experienced, and innovative part-time writer.
We're looking for the right match. Here's what you'd do (Monday through Wednesday, Eastern Standard Time Zone):
° Research trends and analytics (from our YouTube, TikTok, and IG stats)
° Observe/moderate the comments/feedback sections of our platforms (Mondays and Tuesdays), during our livestreams.
° Create engaging surveys and polls for our Community Tabs (after gauging our audiences' feedback in live chat)
° Write weekly articles for our blog and newsletter, based on the survey and poll results
This is a remote position—work from anywhere. However, we highly prefer a qualified writer actively living in the U.S. at this time.
Requirements
° Must have current or previous experience as a Social Media Mgr or Community Mgr for a high-volume business or social media influencer. (previous internship experience is ok)
° Ability to work 2 hours every single Monday and Tuesday (6PM-8PM EST) and create short 300-500 word article on Wednesday (articles and community posts must be submitted by Thursday mornings—no later).
° Have a strong commitment for timeliness and understand the importance of deadlines
° Possess great creative spirit and an engaging flair for words
° Willingness to learn new methods and easily adapt to new styles of writing (when needed)
HIGHLY PREFERRED (IDEAL CANDIDATE):
° Bilingual in English (US) and Spanish
° Ability to write web copy, with 2+ years experience as an Editor
° US citizen or resident presently living in the States
Compensation/Benefits
$ 100 per full livestream attendance
$ 100 per week for research/analysis
$ 50 per month towards home-office expenses/internet
$ 50 per 300-400 word article
$ 30 per survey or poll creation/scripting
Paid bi-weekly through direct deposit, PayPal, CashApp, or invoice only.
Additional pay for bilingual work and side editing tasks (negotiable)!
This is a freelance gig, with a 3-month contract. If the work relationship is a hit, the freelancer will become a permanent part of our team.
