Australian Community Media's Agricultural Publishing group is seeking an experienced journalist to write agenda-setting news across its digital and print platforms. With a primary focus on the Northern Australian beef industry, the role has flexibility to be based in either northern NSW or Queensland.
We seek an enthusiastic and creative journalist capable of producing and publishing accurate and compelling content that meets the needs of our print and digital audiences.
The successful applicant for this role will display the highest ethical standards of independent journalism.
Reporting to the National Agricultural News Editor, you must have excellent writing skills and a good news sense.
Previous experience in news media is required, and a sound knowledge of agriculture is highly desirable.
We are looking for a self-starter who is well organised, willing to work flexible and irregular hours and able to meet deadlines.
