As a #ContentWriter, you will be in charge of increasing our collection of interviews from people in the skilled trades and trucking industries. You’ll find your own stories to tell, supplement articles with quotes, and be assigned your own feature articles. Your work focuses on helping students find the best career for them by sharing real-life stories of the trades.
Sourcing and realizing interviews with truckers and skilled trades workers
Gathering headshots and images
Writing assigned feature articles
Suggesting additional articles
At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, or related field
A strong portfolio of published works
A good grasp on SEO writing
Ability to gather sound clips and other forms of media
