Hey language peoples. Our kitchen goods start up, Caldo, is looking for a skilled writer who knows their way around food/cooking and can talk about it succinctly.
Our mission is to get more people in the kitchen by making food culture more inclusive, less stuffy and as fun as possible.
These articles will live on our blog and help teach people the kitchen fundamentals like techniques, pantry guides and recipes. We'll be giving you article subjects and outlines and you'll have to fill in the rest.
The tone should be casual, fun and irreverent. Sadly, the magazine Lucky Peach no longer exists, but that is a perfect example of what we're looking for. Bon Appetit's newer issues are also great examples.
A few article subjects we may or may not give you:
- The only 3 knives you need in the kitchen. - How to make thai curry paste taste like restaurant curry - What is braising and why is it the answer to life's problems
Check out our blog for reference on what we've published so far: https://www.caldohome.com/blogs/learn
Please send your resumes and writing examples over. This is a paid gig up to $30/hr depending on experience. It is #remote.
