Publisher of WaterCitizen News (est. 2012) - a 30-year veteran of the water industry - has been publishing articles on the latest people, policies, programs, and products of interest to "People Passionate About Water" (aka WaterCitizens).
From our Water Mobile Journalist ("Be in the Know with the Wawa MoJo!"), we have copious notes, photos and videos from various conferences, congressional briefings, and other events on water, energy, environment, sustainability, climate change, resiliency, and related issues - and we need writers to convert these raw materials into articles that can be published on our sites and distributed to mainstream media as press releases.
Can train you on how to write for an online media outlet. This is NOT a trade publication—articles must be written in a popular style BUT be researched and fact-checked like a professional publication.
You will have access to top Water Leaders for followup interviews and other insights. You MUST be able to follow direction with respect to the direction and emphasis of the stories.
Small stipend may be available with potential for increased compensation once you've established your ability to contribute to our publication.
University credit as an internship can be offered through our WaterCitizen Foundation.
If interested, please contact WaterCitizen Media CEO Cat Shrier, Ph.D. ASAP.
