We are a commercial real estate brokerage looking for someone to help design, research and write both a hard-copy and electronic newsletter to be sent to our clients between 4 and 6 times per year. The successful candidate does not necessarily need real estate experience, but should have some experience researching and writing something of a similar nature.
In addition to creating the layout, we will need some assistance researching the specific topics and content for each issue. This will include recent sales activity, current "on-market" opportunities, market data/trends/statistics (such as vacancy rates, rental rates and interest rates), noteworthy major development projects (i.e.; opportunity zones, light-rail, new freeways, new building construction), and so on. In most situations we will specify the major topic for each issue but would ask for your input and ideas as well.
If you can also help us with a weekly blog post, and have experience blogging, then that would be a nice bonus, although we are also OK using two different people if necessary as we really want to work with an experienced blogger.
Tell us what you would charge for either or both assignments, on either a monthly or "per project" basis.
