The Recruiting Associate is responsible for ensuring that any open job within the organization gets filled with the right candidate in a timely manner. This person will help ensure our hiring process is efficient, productive, streamlined, and effective. Since this position will likely be the first impression future candidates applying to work for our team will have, it’s critical to deliver an exceptional experience that makes people excited to join our rapidly growing company. The right candidate should be able to work with our company’s various managers to understand their hiring needs and recruit new team members that can not only do the job requirements well but also fit culturally. The ideal candidate has strong people reading skills to know whether someone will succeed with us in the long-run to minimize costly personnel turnover.
In addition to recruiting, writing job ads will be an incredibly important skill needed for this role. That means you should know how to create and write a job ad that reflects exactly what we would need in a candidate. This individual will have impeccable writing skills that will paint a picture of the ideal candidate, for whichever position is being recruited for.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
Working with HR team to develop strategic recruitment plans
Writing all new job ads and working with the team to update any outdated ones
Performing all functions related to recruiting including posting job ads, conducting interviews, making recommendations for candidate advancement and ensuring the success of newly hired team members
Prioritizing open jobs and ensuring hiring deadlines are met
Developing skill assessment tests to objectively evaluate job applicant skills
Networking and being resourceful to find the best possible talent on LinkedIn, Indeed, Craigslist, and other job ad sites
Remaining current on employment and recruiting trends; recommending solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the recruiting life cycle
Assisting with analyzing current turnover stats and creating a plan to help improve retention
WHAT YOU HAVE:
3+ years experience using hiring platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.
3+ years experience writing job ads or related descriptions for roles within a company
2+ years experience in creative writing
Experience in hiring management with a proven track record of recruiting and developing a solid team of employees
Ability to develop organizational charts
Self-starter tendencies with organizational skills and keen attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment

The Recruiting Manager oversees the Recruiting Associate

Currently, the Recruiting Associate has no personnel reporting directly to him or her
WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:
This is a remote position where you are able to work from a home office
WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:
The typical work schedule is Mon-Fri 930a-530p PST
