2Modern is looking for an experienced, results-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our team. 2Modern is a fast-growing eCommerce company based in the San Francisco Bay Area (serving all of North America). Established in 2003, 2Modern is a leader in the modern furniture, lighting and home decor market.
We are authorized dealers for over 150+ coveted brands such as Knoll, Foscarini, Moooi, Tom Dixon, Bernhardt, Artemide and many more.
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for creation, planning, and execution of the company's social media strategy to drive awareness, traffic, engagement and conversion.
Ultimately, this includes conceptualizing and implementing the 2Modern "voice" and “look” across all social platforms to communicate effectively with targeted audiences to drive engagement. Compensation includes a base salary and incentive plan.
Qualified Candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (preferred)
2+ years of experience managing social media & content development for retail brand(s)
Demonstration of active immersion in the social space with large following (i.e. blog, instagram, pinterest, etc.)
Proven track record of executing social media strategies and leveraging data & research to drive increased engagement, increased follower count, and conversionsIn-depth knowledge and experience scheduling and publishing contentIn-depth knowledge and experience using all social media management tools
Experience with GA and creation of data-driven reports
Ability to create and deliver creative content (text, image, mood boards, video, etc.)
Basic understanding of photo-editing/design skills (Photoshop, etc)Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, remote team environment
Strong time management skills, ability to meet deadlines, great attention to detail, ability to work autonomously, and take initiative
Knowledge of and passion for design, interiors, trends in social media and new technologies
We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing Team! The candidate will manage posting and engagement across all of 2Modern’s social platforms (Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook & Twitter). The candidate will also assist with content planning and creation. The ideal candidate is responsible for creating and editing all social content - images, videos, copy - and responding to our audiences in real time to foster a sense of community.
The position also requires an understanding of social analytics and the ability to report on those findings weekly/monthly. You must be an excellent writer and communicator, with the ability to easily adopt 2Modern’s voice.
A passion for everything social media is a must - as well as a can-do attitude, a self starter and being a team player. Interior Design knowledge is a plus.
Essential Functions & Tasks:
Deliver on Social Channel KPI's (ie., Referrals, ROI, Followers, Engagement, Lead Generation, SEO)
Manage all social platforms: Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube
Create, schedule, publish, track, monitor, respond to all social channels on a daily (and hourly) basis, including some evenings and weekends – both real-time and scheduled
Respond hourly to Instagram comments to increase engagement + follower countCreate and manage social media within Content Calendar to ensure posts are planned and messaging is aligned across all channels
Contribute to Content Calendar with ideas that reflect seasonal objectives, brand promotions, new product launches, and targeted tests for engagement lift
Assist with content creation for blog posts, trend reports, and emails
Analyze and report on social media performance–trends, traffic, conversions; generate reports and effectively tweak social strategy and content based on analytics
Identify, cultivate and manage influencer partnership opportunities with bloggers, super-fans, industry/sector experts and influencers
