As our Technical Submissions Writer, you will be responsible for producing professionally written proposal content for our bid submissions. Working with highly collaborative team and project managers, bid team specialists and SMEs, you will transfer the experience and knowledge of the organization into tailored, effective bid response documents that clearly articulate our value proposition and result in winning and retaining business.
We are filling full-time permanent and contract positions for a period of bidding activity commencing in March 2020 to work with our teams on-site or remotely.
Specific duties include:
Research and write proposals, including RFTs, EOIs, business cases and capability statements
Work collaboratively with the tender proposal team to understand client requirements and bid value proposition and strategic messaging
Work with the organization’s SMEs to develop clear, concise and effective content and deliver requirements within strict timelines
Work with graphic designers, technical talent and consultants to develop content
Meet deadlines and quality expectations in document preparation and bid submissions
Key requirements are:
Proven experience in tendering or writing for government, ideally within the transport sector
Ability to accurately interpret submission requirements
Able to communicate and work with stakeholders across all levels of the organization and external consultants to extract the required data for proposal development
Ability to ‘join the dots’ and put together a story from a range of sources and informationSelf-motivated and resilient with excellent time-management skills and ability to work under pressure
Advanced skill levels in Microsoft WordAs an experienced
