Our client is currently looking to procure a Technical Writer with a strong Administrative Management background, which will further support the company's digital content and virtual office assistant needs.
The Technical Writer/Virtual Assistant must be able to:
Use computer software to create spreadsheets;
Ensure CRM databases remain up-to-date and accurate;
Respond to emails in a timely manner and forward correspondences to appropriate team members when needed (i.e. sales lead, HR mgr, etc.);
Update event calendars and schedule appointments (when our in-house assistant is not available);
Create website content as needed;
Manage and edit blog content;
Oversee our small team of freelance writers.
Technical Writer/Virtual Assistant Qualifications and Skills
Undergraduate degree (or 10 years of experience to supplement education requirement)— education credentials and experience will be verified;
Knowledge of contemporary spreadsheet, word processing, CRM database programs, and SEO development;
At least three years of experience working/managing an office, preferably as a remote administrative assistant or virtual assistant;
Extensive knowledge and experience with meta tags and WordPress highly preferred;
Proven history of taking initiative and implementing upward movement and positive change remotely;
Excellent time management and organizational skills a must.
This remote contract position requires the Technical Writer/Virtual Assistant to:
Be available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday each week;
Be available Eastern Standard Time (10:00AM to 1:00PM);
Have a quiet home office and laptop/computer with reliable high-speed internet;
Receive compensation via Direct Deposit or PayPal.
Consent to a background check (education, work experience, references, and criminal history).
Base pay is $300 USD bi-weekly for Monday, Wed., Friday virtual assistant duties;
Writing assignments: $50-150 per assignment;
Salary is paid bi-weekly. Each contract contains 2-3 writing assignments per week (minimum) with an opportunity to leverage additional writing tasks.
