The Marketing Content Writer will be responsible for the development of original written content including editorial articles, white papers, case studies, website, sales enablement collateral, speaking proposals and presentations, webinar presentations and more.
The Content Writer will report to the Director of Brand and Marketing Communications and work closely with the entire team, including those responsible for lead generation and product marketing.
The successful candidate must have demonstrated ability to write and produce original content in the B2B healthcare technology space and will be able to provide samples of their work.
Understand the needs of our various target audiences and be able to draft compelling content that clearly and succinctly tells a story and influences action;
Be able to understand the marketing team’s overall goals and propose researched ideas for content creation that will align with existing efforts and help us achieve our objectives;
Own content process from beginning to end, including, but not limited to brainstorming with internal teams, interviewing of internal and external subject matter experts, writing and editing, managing review and approvals, working to leverage content, sharing of content internally and externally and measurement of results;
Collaborate and communicate with the creative, marketing and digital media teams in content conception, creation, promotion, measurement, and refinement.
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing or communications required
5+ years of experience in a content creation role (work samples will be required)
Experience in the healthcare industry required
Must understand complex subject matter and be able to translate into market-facing copy
Ability to work in a matrixed environment with considerable autonomy
Well-read and knowledgeable of business issues; intellectually curious
Excellent writing ability and communication skills
Strong proofreading and editing skills a must
