The candidate will hold a PhD (post-doctoral experience preferred) in materials science, chemistry, physics, or a related area. Previous editorial or publishing experience is advantageous, but not essential. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in science and science communication and will be a strong advocate for innovations in publishing and open research. An excellent command of English is essential, as well as the ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, focus, and be an effective team player.
