Description
We have an opening for a smart-working individual to work as a reporter for our Gazette Observer in the South-eastern region of the United States.
Responsibilities include reporting, writing news and features, editing copy, and overall management of the news content. Good layout skills are a must because page design is a big part of this position.
Monday - Friday schedule; remote work opportunity with full benefits for the right mainland US reporter.
Requirements
° Candidate should have experience in InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
° Must have at least 5 years of experience as a copywriter and/or news journalist.
° Strong research skills is required.
° A college degree is helpful but not as important as a good work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and be part of the team.
